“Acoustic Guitars” is a new series of work inspired by the visual expression of sound. Gottschalk’s pieces are stripped down to the essence of the subject… Strings and an Acoustic Sound Chamber. The strings shift their shape as they cross the acoustic sound chamber animating waves of sound. The colors and shapes flow as a visual representation of “sound and resonance.

“Acoustic Guitars” measure 36” tall, 9” wide, and extend 2 1/2” from the wall. and are totally unique They include the necessary hardware to hang them and the instructions on how to do it.
